Timer Model No. 152 by Rodolfo Bonetto

Rodolfo Bonetto's image of a timer relates to Felix Gonzales, Untitled (Perfect Lovers), in that they both involve time. The two have similar subject matter, and Bonetto's work follows after Gonzales'. After Bonetto's image of the timer is Tom Friedman's, Untitled. This shows a photograph of a fly in black and white. Friedman's work was chosen to follow after Bonetto's because they are both black and white photographs.

Le Roi a la Chasse (2006)

My piece was Kehinde Wiley's "Le Roi a la Chasse" (2006). To the left we placed a piece by Gerhard Richter. These shared a similar color scheme. To the right we placed Nan Golden's "Nan and Brian in Bed". These two were connected because they each had a human subject.

Two Fried Eggs and a Kebab

"Two Fried eggs and a Kebab" related on one side to the giant burger because they aesthetically share the same brown colors and also in terms of subject matter both portray food.  On the other side "Two Fried Eggs and a Kebab" relates to the two chairs again because of the brown color but also because they are the same medium, wood, and in terms of function the table and chairs accompany each other.

No.9 Tom Friedman-Untitled

This untitled piece by Tom Friedman was after Rodolfo Bonetto's Timer and before Claes Oldenburg's Floor Burger. This relates to "Timer" by the monocromatic color palate and the replication of a subject matter found in nature(natural or social). It relates to Floor Burger in context, such as a picnic scene, or the connection between a predator and prey.

Richard Prince's Untitled (Cowboy)

My piece was Richard Prince's Untitled (Cowboy) from 1989. It is preceded in the layout by Odilon Roden's "Rocks on the Beach." They are linked by color and similar landscapes. After the Cowboy work comes a landscape by Gerhard Richter. These two works are linked by color and similar subject matter. The three works gradually get less muted in color.

Wolfgang LAIB Milk Stone

"Milk Stone" was at the bottom of the line next to "Brillo Box" by Andy Warhol. This image was next to Warhol's because the of the shape (square) and color (white). Also brillo pads are a cleaning object so taking "Bronx Floor" which is dirty before the "Brillo Pad", the outcome will be white and clean.

Joseph Beuys, "Filzanzug (Felt Suit)" 1970

The felt suit is next to Odilon Redon "Rocks on the Beach" 1883.  The colors of the sky and rocks from the beach landscape are not vibrant.  The suit is grey.  They are both muted.
